Presenting to you the Members of the Executive Board:
Director UNHRC
Tharun Rana
Greetings Diplomats!
I am Tharun Rana recently finished my 12th at Meridian School Banjara Hills . It's an honour and immense pleasure to serve as the Director for the Human Rights Council.
I am an avid horse rider and represented the Telangana state multiple times at the national level.
It feels really good to come back to Sreenidhi and I'm looking forward for the MUN this year and expect it to be a barn burner, portraying both productivity and fun.
I would like to put across this one quote which I believe to be the best, "If you don't sacrifice for what you want , what you want becomes the sacrifice."
Assistant Director UNHRC
Aditya Sudini
If nothing else, Aditya is a massive footballer and more particularly FC Barcelona fan. In fact, he might even be playing football right now if not for a dodgy knee. I have been to various MUN's as a delegate, but this is my first time as part of a member of the executive board. I learn quickly, so adjusting to life as an EB member, no sweat. I urge the delegates of the UNHRC to do some concrete research so that debate is fiery. Best of luck delegates.
Director UNICEF
Mir Mustafa Ali Hasan
An Avid Public Speaker, Mir Mustafa Ali Hasan is an alumnus of The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet. Till date he has participated in 20+ conferences in various capacities. He also served as The Secretary General of The Eagle MUN 2016.
A Passionate Orator, he is highly approachable and is extremely jovial. Apart from MUN'ing he is a huge potterhead and enjoys Cooking and Horse Riding. He aspires to join the Legal wing of The United Nations someday. He considers it a privilege to be the Director of UNICEF.
Assistant Director UNICEF
Arya Kamble
I am Arya Kamble a junior in Sreenidhi International. I am so proud to welcome you all to this years Sreenidhi MUN.
I am a student of the IBDP program so when I am not school working on assignments and meeting deadlines or trying to get to my SAT class on time I like to listen to music, sketch and binge watch TV shows. I spend my days in school, kickboxing class, swimming practice, singing practice and being embarrassing with my friends My first MUN was back in 6th grade where I was the delegate of Belgium and our agenda was something along the lines of protecting historical monuments and I have not stopped ever since. From being a delegate of Mexico, Indonesia, Israel, New Guinea and many more countries I have been a part of my fair share of debates as well as MUN's.
I like to think I am approachable, understanding and I can promise an extremely fun experience to all those that are taking a part in the Sreenidhi MUN this year.
Director WFP
Nihar Reddy Mara
Nihar Reddy Mara, Senior at The Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad.
When he started his MUN career, he was the delegate of Azerbaijan and barely knew anything about his country or the agenda even after the conference ended. Almost 3 years later, he now stands before you as the Director of World Food Program.
Nihar believes that research is paramount in any committee and without research, one is doomed. He suggests that delegates do their prior reading and approach their debate confidently. As the director, with a contemporary and interesting agenda in mind, he expects a fresh and critical approach for debate and encourage these future MUNners to put their hundred percent in whatever they do.
Although he may seem intimidating, he is positive that you can approach him at anytime and he will definitely try to help you however he can.
He strongly believes that ‘The only thing that hurts more than failure is not trying’.
Assistant Director WFP
Khushi Baslas
A freshman at the Future Kids, Khushi Baslas is zestful, high-spirited and approachable.
Khushi is passionate about photography and playing her Khushi sized guitar. Her love to explore new places and her desire for adventure has taken her to places all over the globe. Khushi truly believes that the only way to reach the top is by constantly challenging yourself and she wishes for delegates to do the same. She is glad to have an opportunity of experiencing a Model United Nations from the other side of the table this time. Although she won’t promise several Motions for Entertainment, she will surely lighten the mood in the committee for sure! Although it may be her first appearance as a member of the Executive Board, she will not disappoint you, as her motto has always been “Perfection or nothing.”
Assistant Director WFP
Mallory Beaumont
I'm Mallory Beaumont and I am currently an 11th grader and more importantly looking forward to being a part of SreenidhiMUN 2017 with all of you. So, I began participating in MUN conferences since four years and I have really enjoyed participating in these conferences ever since. This is currently my first Sreenidhi MUN, but I have been privileged enough to be able to participate in over 7 conferences in South America, most of which I was allocated as the Delegation of China in the Security Council. The impact that MUN has left on me is one that I would love to pursue a career out of bettering peoples lives across the world and the impact that MUN has left on me is something I want to share with everyone interested by MUN conferences.
Looking forward to see you all!
